Responsibilities
* Develop and prepare progress reports for each assigned project
* Read and interpret construction drawings, job specifications and contracts
* Identify and report on variations in the schedule in a timely manner
* Lead project teams through proper setup and maintenance of schedules
* Evaluate project risk using the Earned Value Management system.
* Resource and cost load the construction CPM schedule
* Maintain careful documentation of all schedule submittals so that any requests for time adjustments can be accurately measured

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred. Technical training or related experience will also be considered.
* 5-7+ years' construction scheduling experience, including three years of proven leadership experience directing scheduling function
* Proficient in developing and analyzing schedules in Primavera P6
* Open to change and new information, able to adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles
* Strong attention to detail; ability to recognize discrepancies
* Basic legal principles as they relate to scheduling
* Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite and Primavera P6
* Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel etc

District Overview
Kiewit's Central District operates in the central and south-central regions of the United States. We build heavy civil and transportation projects, including highways, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams and tunnels. With one of the largest equipment fleets in the region, we can mobilize to any location as a full-service construction team capable of self-performing mass grading, drainage, bridge construction, aggregate production, paving, rail and utility construction.
Location
As a Survey Manager you will support projects in the Colorado region, as well as other states in Central United States. We support projects in CO, MT, WY, NM, ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, IS and MN. **Location**
This role is based out of our Lenexa, Kansas office.
**Responsibilities**
+ The individual is leading the building project team, along with being, the primary interface with project management and other project discipline leads. The building project team encompasses architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and BIM designers.
+ Management and ownership of project performance (productivity, quality, schedule). Monitor project and team metrics; On an as-needed basis this individual will seek out underperformance and develop and execute a recovery plan.
+ Actively support project initiation and development in both the estimate and execution phases to ensure projects are set up for success.
+ Manage project staffing needs to properly support each project with the mindset of serving both the project and the development of the team through setting and managing high expectations.
+ Drive communication within the project team and various stakeholders ensuring understanding of ongoing activities, contractual requirements, budget, and overall project schedule.
+ Collaborate with the estimating department with lessons from production.
+ The building lead is in charge of understanding the entire building scope of a project. They are the primary interface with procurement, construction, the client, and project management regarding building design and execution.
+ Maintain and continue to develop relationships with EPC project stakeholders as the representative for IBG's center of excellence for buildings.
+ Attend weekly project meetings including but not limited to:
+ Leads Coordination Meeting
+ Project Controls
+ Model Walks
+ Procurement
+ Run weekly buildings internal coordination meetings
+ Provide accurate forecasting of project man-power needs to IBG department managers
+ Define and own project schedules and various document control metrics
+ Drive the EPC mindset on the project team.
+ Know the project contract requirements and what was included in the project estimate.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience and 3 years of relevant building project management experience leading a team (or a combination of those years in design plus management)
+ Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license, preferred
+ Knowledge of multi-discipline industrial building design and experience in similar leadership role as outlined above, leading technical resources, and managing scope/schedule/budget for a project.
+ The candidate should be a solution-driven individual with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a group of experienced professionals and drive things forward to completion.
+ Experience with EPC building execution preferred

Responsibilities
* Performs 3D designs of concrete, structural steel, modular steel, and stick built, precast elements, rebarr, foundations, pipe racks, tanks, platforms, buildings, connections, stairs, and other structures for Industrial facilities, using REVIT and Navisworks for clash detection.
* Collaborate with project teams in developing designs and construction documents, incorporating BIM practices and applications
* Develops and manages project information while ensuring compliance with development information and information management standards and policies
* Maintain project design documentation through all phases of design and construction
* Ensures that project details and specifications are coordinated and communicated to the construction team through an integrated design process
* Works with project managers, engineers, and other designers to aid in project completion within schedule, budget and quality constraints
* Work closely with the BIM team and stakeholders to meet project objectives
* Develop and check design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
* Navigate 3D models and check for interferences and constructability.
* Support the construction team including representing the design team on-site, answering RFI's, providing creative design solutions, etc.
Qualifications
* Associates degree, or Completion of a vocational training program in Computer Aided Design and 5+ years professional experience in Revit; or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 8 years of structural design experience using Revit
* Experience with both Concrete and Steel structures design, designing foundations, platforms, buildings, piping, tanks, precast elecments, rebarr, pipe racks, stairs and connections, prefer experience with modular steel.
* Minimum of 3+ years professional experience in Navisworks and Autodesk Docs
* Proficient in Autodesk and Microsoft products
* Ability to read and understand Construction Documents and Submittals
* Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex BIM projects
* Ability to understand and implement detail project specifications and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
