This position will assist with the performance of routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision. Evers Electric has our own Apprenticeship Training School for Apprentice Wiremen and Apprentice Linemen. The programs are recognized and supported by the US Department of Labor and certified by the Arkansas Department of Labor.
Our program takes four years to complete, and we offer classroom and online courses. The courses meet one evening per week for four hours and are taught by some of our top journeymen within the electrical field. Apprentices will be employed and will work while accumulating their class hours. Wage advancement opportunities will occur as class hours and on the job training hours are earned.
