The Architectural Designer is responsible for creating and developing architectural designs and plans based on project specifications and requirements. This role works under close supervision on new tasks and non-routine work, and may work independently on routine tasks, depending on level of experience. The Architectural Designer will take direction from the Project Architect or Team Lead and work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet client needs and regulatory standards. What you'll be responsible for: Creating and developing architectural designs from initial concept to detailed design stages. Producing detailed design drawings, plans, and models using appropriate software and applications. Working with others to design, compile data, do area take-offs, prepare plans/renderings. Conducting material research under direction of the Project Architect. Generating concepts based on project design goals. Working with Project Manager and other team members to ensure designs are feasible and comply with all regulations and standards. Conducting site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for design and planning. Incorporating sustainable design principles and practices into projects to promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Preparing detailed construction documents, specifications, and materials lists.
