POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Junior Architectural Designer with extensive experience in interior planning, Revit, ability to draw and design layouts, and visual mockups for new locations. This role will be working under a licensed architect who will guide the full concept-to-execution process, collaborating directly with leadership to ensure our facilities are both functional and visually compelling. You will assist layout standards, develop construction drawing sets, ensure code and ADA compliance, and help create visual materials for both internal stakeholders and external partners. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the architectural vision, layout planning, and design standards for all Amped Fitness locations. Develop and manage architectural drawing sets, including floor plans, equipment layouts, interior elevations, and finish plans. Coordinate with licensed architect to communicate with engineers, general contractors, and vendors to ensure design feasibility and construction accuracy. Be present for site evaluations, field verifications, and progress oversight during build-outs. Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and company design guidelines. Work collaboratively with the marketing team to translate architectural concepts into branded visuals and promotional materials. Maintain an organized library of equipment standards, templates, and layout best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch). 2+ years experience in commercial architecture or interior planning (fitness, retail, hospitality, or high-traffic environments preferred). Must be efficient and fast with Revit, SketchUp, or comparable rendering software Experience working with municipalities and expediting permitting processes, navigating different codes and comments. Working knowledge of ADA, and relevant accessibility and life-safety codes. Portfolio demonstrating both technical documentation and 3D visualization capabilities. What You'll Do Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for luxury residential remodels and new builds. Translate designer and architect concepts into practical, buildable plans that meet structural, code, and field conditions. Create and refine Scopes of Work for interior and architectural elements, ensuring clarity for field crews and subcontractors.
