Candidates for the Junior ArchitecturalDesigner position must exhibit a strong design sense, sound technical skills, and an ability to contribute to a creative process to develop innovative design concepts and solutions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:
1-2+ years of professional experience in architecture (full-time)
Strong graphics, design, organization, and communication skills.
Proficient in Revit.
Excellent skills in 3D Modeling (Rhino) and Rendering (Enscape, V-ray).
Outstanding graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite).
Ability to communicate design ideas and direction clearly and effectively.
Collaborative and professional work ethic.
Basic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codes.

Compensation
BBB offers fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $70,000, with variations depending on experience, education, achievements, and business needs. Employees may also receive an annual performance-based bonus and salary increase.

Your Role
As a Summer Architecture Intern at Gensler, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.
This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7, 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program. This is not a remote position.
What You Will Do
* Work on architecture projects as a fully collaborative member of a design team, participating in design charrettes to help define strategic goals for our clients, large or small
* Receive hands-on learning and collaborate with designers, architects, directors, and managers to plan, design, develop and gain real-world experience working with clients across a spectrum of industries and locations

* Experience using Revit or Rhino required and BIM modeling software
* 3-D computer rendering skills (Enscape, V-ray, Sketch Up, 3-D Max, and/or other modeling software)

* Hand sketching and physical modelling ability a plus
