We are seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our Technical Team in a fast-paced manufacturing company. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can develop standard product details and produce shop/installation drawings of Morin wall and roof metal panels in commercial, industrial, and architectural applications. This position requires close coordination with other departments to ensure our customers receive the highest level of customer service and support that drives and maintains the reputation of our company.
Essential Functions:

2. Interpret information from internal order acknowledgement (products sold) and customer supplied structural and/or architectural plans.

4. Coordinate panel analysis with Morin engineering personnel.
5. Conduct quality checks on peer drawings and bill of materials.
6. Review and update drawings to customer redline corrections as needed.
7. Produce bill of material (BOM) list in company format from final approved set of drawings.
8. Interface with required internal and external project stakeholders.
9. Develop standard details/manuals/prints for Morin products in 2D and 3D.
10. Assist sales staff and customer service with current and future projects

12. Create product submittals for new projects

* Conduct periodic travel for building investigations, measurements, and construction observation, including the preparation of subsequent reports and exhibits.
* Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines for submittal to agencies with jurisdiction.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Position Requirements -
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Experience with retail, restaurant, or commercial projects
* Proficiency in REVIT, Sketchup and Adobe Suite
* Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software's platforms.
* Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
* A Master's degree is preferred.
