As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Job Duties:
Reading, comprehending, and following work instructions for the purpose of assembly and kitting
Using equipment such as small hoists, small jib cranes, wrenches, taps, power tools, 40lb pneumatic torque wrench, sockets, caulk gun, screwdriver, rivet gun, drills, and other common industrial tools used to convert raw components into sub-assemblies and final assemblies
Handle all tools, equipment, inventory and other company property with care
Understand torque values
Understand the difference in fasteners
Adjust spring tensions, spacing, and alignment
Handle a large range of component parts and maintain accurate inventory of components in the assembly and kitting work centers
Considerable adjusting, aligning, and fitting to very close tolerances and strict inspection standards
Kitting components into small boxes and crates using quality check sheets to ensure accuracy of kit contents.
Packaging and crating the final assemblies and kits in preparation for shipment.
Able to lift 50+ lbs

We're looking for an Assembler to join our team at KRB Machinery. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling machines within the KRB product line. You'll use your mechanical skills to put together parts, subassemblies, and complete machines using drawings, tools, and measuring instruments. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing directly to the production of high-quality machinery.What You'll Do
• Assemble machines and equipment according to drawings and shop orders
• Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, or other fasteners with hand and power tools
• Operate presses, grinders, or MIG welders as needed during assembly
• Perform inspections to ensure high-quality standards are met
• Run and test machines after assembly, and disassemble or rebuild as required
• Perform touch-up painting and minor sheet metal work when necessary
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment What We're Looking For
• Six (6) months of related experience preferred including welding and operating powered hand tools
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods
