Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift) located in Salt Lake City, UT. What you'll get to do: Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products. Performs tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Assembles, disassembles, repairs and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions. May assemble and modifies prototype precision units for engineering personnel. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate, read, understand, work using a microscope, work with mechanical small parts, handle shock sensitive devices, and follow standard operation procedures or assembly instructions. Basic Qualifications for the Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2: High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience. Must be available for 2nd shift. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. Soldering certification or experience. Primary Level Salary Range: $39,500.00 - $65,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
