Assembler
An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of plans. They verify the correct quantities of components, parts, and quality check completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.
Duties
The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of an Assembler involves interpreting product blueprints and handling various tools. They must evaluate and analyze any non-conforming materials and make corrections, inspecting and repairing any returns. An Assembler should be a people person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. Based on workloads may need to participate in inventory management functions, recycling management, and other warehouse related actions as needed for effective shift performance.

Position and attach major components such as engine blocks and fan housings to the chassis using hoists and alignment tools.
Operate equipment such as drills, riveting machines, and hydraulic crimpers to support assembly tasks.
Identify, organize, and distribute parts to designated assembly areas; record work orders and inventory transactions accurately.
Perform functional tests on completed assemblies and operate forklifts or hoists as needed to support production flow.
