We're looking for a Battery Assembly Technician to join our growing team in Cedar Park, Texas. In this position, you'll assemble, test, and inspect high-voltage battery modules and subassemblies used in next-generation generator systems. Candidates with experience in EV batteries, energy storage, aerospace electronics, PCBA, or other precision electromechanical environments are highly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
1-3+ years of hands-on experience in battery assembly, EV/energy storage, aerospace electronics, electrical assembly, or precision electro-mechanical assembly.
Experience with mechanical and electrical build tasks such as crimping, fastening, torque tools, connector installation, and cable routing.
Experience working with PCB assemblies, BMS boards, or other sensitive electronic components.
Comfort working around high-voltage systems (training provided).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and work instructions.
Hands-on experience using multimeters, crimp tools, torque drivers, and basic electrical or leak-test equipment.
Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, and reliability due to the complexity and cost of materials.
Ability to follow standardized work, build documentation, traceability logs, and revision-controlled processes.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background check and drug test is required.
