* Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of FS Solutions.
* Meet predetermined daily/weekly/monthly efficiency, productivity, utilization and ship schedule for final assembly and subassemblies.
* Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
* Perform all assigned safety / environmental inspections following the predefined process.
* Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and proactively identify shop/equipment maintenance needs and note these on the bay white board.
* Ability to operate overhead crane system.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Candidates with the following skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Possesses advanced mechanical knowledge of hydraulic sytems,12-volt electrical systems, drive systems (including drive shafts, cogged belts or roller chains) or external engine assembly/repairs commonly found on mobile equipment.
* Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls and Can-Bus networks, a plus.
Position Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent with basic mechanical education; Certification in Diesel Mechanic a plus
* 6 Months related job experience
* Ability to read drawings, blue prints and work instructions
* Ability to obtain a Fork Lift Certification
