Responsibilities:
Assist the machine operator in arranging and maintaining an efficient and organized work area
Remove trays of cards from boxes and place them behind the appropriate feeders
Inspect trays of cards for defects, cutting, or printing errors, and ensure they meet established quality standards
Load verified cards into the correct feeders to maintain continuous production
Follow quality control procedures, safety rules, and emergency protocols
Participate in the company recycling program and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the machine operator or supervisor
Requirements:
This position is entry-level, no experience needed
Ability to safely and successfully perform all essential job functions
Ability to meet quality and productivity standards
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand for the entire shift and walk around the warehouse

**As an Assembler at Caterpillar you will:**
+ Follow documented procedures to perform safe and defect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components.

We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. * Test product for compliance to meet specifications using manual and automatic test equipment

* Achieve daily departmental productivity and quality levels

Position includes a wage of $18.00/hour (+8% shift premium for 3rd shift - $19.44/hour), quarterly goal sharing program and a comprehensive benefit program.
Shift Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm/ Monday- Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm/ Monday- Thursday 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30 pm - 5:30 am / Monday-Friday 10:15 pm - 6:15 am (Boone Trail)
Training Schedule: Will train on 1st shift for up to 3 weeks
Monday- Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm

As an Assembler at Caterpillar you will:
* Follow documented procedures to perform safe and defect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components.
* Leverage lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
* Use industrial power tools for assembly and lifting devices to move heavy components.
* Be held accountable for completing standard work within the allotted cycle time (approximately 3-15-minute cycle time).
* Cross-train across work areas and ability to learn new work areas.
Basic Requirements:
* 6 months of previous work experience
* Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
* Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
* Willing and able to lift to 35 lbs.
Top Candidates will also have:
* Prior experience with hand tools or power tools
* Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
* Heavy equipment machine assembly experience
* Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 lbs.
* Proven track record of good attendance and work history.

General Duties and Responsibilities
The following general duties apply to all specialty areas within the Production Technician II position.
Safely handling materials, tools, and supplies used in the department.
Determining if the product that is being manufactured has the correct parts and is correctly cut and processed to ensure a quality product.
Performing some minor machine maintenance as required.
Recognizing immediately if a machine is malfunctioning and notifying group leader promptly to avoid delays in production.
Meeting schedules and maintaining good quality requirements on a daily basis.
Filling in on any position on the production floor as required by the group leader or any other designated employee if need should arise.
Receiving requests, instructions and directions and complying with the same.
Complying with all safety rules and regulations and using any personal protective equipment or machine guards that may be required.

Gluing by means of brushing, spraying or glue dots.

Job Duties of Riveter

Safely operating Milford press rivet machine or any other rivet machine (electric or manual) as required.
Safely riveting belts, accessories, holsters, etc. as required.
Using knowledge of products to choose correct size plates and rivets for each product.
Using drill press to drill out any defective rivets or for any other repair work.
Setting up snaps and studs on holster, accessories, etc.
