The Outpatient Clinical Care Assistant Trainee has a pay rate of $15/hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Completes the rooming process, to include but not limited to vitals, height, weight and completion of intake questions and reports abnormal findings to RN or LIP. Collects specimens, performs Point of Care Testing, and prepares specimens for transport to lab. Prepares patient for exams, tests, and procedures and assists with exams, treatments and procedures using sterile technique as applicable. Assists with procedures such as EKG, Holter monitor application, pulse oximetry, hearing and vision screening, and disinfection and sterilization. Assists with keeping exam rooms and clinical areas clean, orderly and stocked. Documents in the electronic health record and assists with management of in-baskets. Assists with clerical activities such as faxing, scanning and scheduling of appointments. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED. Successful completion of clinical skills curriculum within twelve months of hire.
Certifications:
Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required within new hire period.
Competencies (Complexity of Work):
Demonstrates a positive and sensitive response when interacting with others. Requires organizational skills to set priorities, organize work activities and complete assigned work.
Work Experience:
