Since 1980, Parkland College's College for Kids (CFK) enrichment summer camp has provided area youth with challenging, exciting, and safe experiences designed to ignite a lifelong desire for learning. College for Kids provides the opportunity for students ages 6-13 years to explore areas of study and interest in a non-graded, fun-filled environment through quality, hands-on experiences. Position provides flexibility as instructors may submit 1-4 class proposals. Instructors may elect to teach one or both sessions.
Instructors are paid for 16 instructional hours per class. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and ranges from $25 to $35 per hour. Hiring is contingent upon the course meeting the minimum class size and submission of the finalized class curriculum and supply list by a pre-established deadline in April.

Program Goals:
Summer CFK programs are designed to attain the following goals:
* Provide hands-on explorations in specialized fields such as science, math, language arts, culinary, computer science, technology, humanities and fine arts.
* Provide challenging experiences and intellectual stimulation that develop students' special interests.
* Expose students to a learning atmosphere that will motivate them to achieve their highest potential.
Essential Job Functions:
* Submit complete daily lesson plans, course syllabus, supply list and budget by established deadlines.
* Commit to teach during the ENTIRE CLASS TIME on the eight days of the session.
* Attend mandatory CFK Staff Orientation on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
* Maintain high standard of teaching and learning in classroom.
* Actively engage all students in learning each day.
* Responsible for classroom management.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* Two or more years' experience in education (teaching) or related field; experience teaching children ages six (6) through thirteen (13) years old preferred.
* Prospective new hires will successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check with fingerprinting. The background check review includes, but is not limited to, exclusionary offenses per the Illinois School Code and Title IV of the Higher Education Act.
* Demonstrated passion and proficiency in the proposed subject area.
* Provide classroom and/or online instruction to meet stated course objectives.
* Patience when working with children.
* Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
* A professional attitude and the ability to work with others.
* Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity.

* Life Insurance: The coverage amount is based on two and one-half times appointment salary rounded up to the next whole thousand with a maximum coverage of $100,000 and includes the same amount of Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefits. Job Summary/Basic Function
The School of Criminology and Security Studies (SCSS) at Indiana State University welcomes applications for two (2) tenure-track positions at the rank of assistantprofessor in its Cybercriminology and Security Studies program.
Specific Responsibilities
There are two positions available. For the first position, the successful candidate will principally teach courses related to computer hardware/software, computer networks, digital forensics, and/or security and risk. For the second position, the successful candidate may focus more on courses related to cybercrime, the human factor of cybercrime, and digital forensics. Individuals with expertise in both specialties will be considered for both positions. The successful candidates for both positions will also have the ability to develop new courses and will be able to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as teach in both on-campus and distance formats. The typical teaching load for faculty members who remain productive scholars is 3 courses per semester. Summer teaching opportunities are also possible for those who are interested.

Qualifications and Duties: Candidates for both positions are required to have a doctorate, with strong preference given to those with a Ph.D. or D.Sc. in cybersecurity, digital forensics, or criminology, or in a related field with expertise in cybersecurity, digital security, or other related cyber area. Preferred qualifications include experience in the field of cybersecurity and/or digital forensics or practical experience in computing. An ABD with a firm completion date by December 2026 will be considered. A juris doctorate is not sufficient.

The Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute of the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL is building the Carle Clinical Imaging Research Program (CCIRP) with a position to be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The Carle Foundation is a vertically integrated healthcare system with almost 17,000 employees, a multi-specialty physician group, eight hospitals, and health plans. Carle also collaborates extensively with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Illinois) in a number of initiatives. These include the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world's first engineering-based medical school, and the Carle Illinois Advanced Imaging Center (CIAIC).
In addition to the primary appointment at Carle, additional academic appointments are possible in the relevant Illinois departments and at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. Carle is making a multi-million dollar investment in its research infrastructure, including CCIRP, CIAIC, clinical trials management, investigator-initiated support services, and other initiatives.
The CIAIC's principal focus is a 7T Siemens TERRA whole-body MRI scanner, an FDA-approved system that is used for both research and clinical purposes and that is the only such system in the State of Illinois. Carle also has a Siemens 3T Prisma system, a 3T Vida system and two Siemens 1.5T Sola systems that are available for research. CCIRP has existing research programs in MRI physics, translational and clinical neuroimaging at 7T, and musculoskeletal MRI at 3T and 7T.
Applicants are sought who will diversity this portfolio in areas such as pharmacologic MRI, movement disorders, cancer imaging, psychiatry, or other clinical neuroimaging research applications. The successful applicant will be expected to conceptualize, develop, and lead translational and clinical research projects involving 7T MRI; establish and lead a research group; and establish and sustain an independent externally-funded research program. In addition, the successful applicant will provide leadership and key technical expertise in collaborative imaging research projects among Carle basic science and clinical researchers and with investigators and students at Illinois.

Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and leads to a positive experience with Ivy Tech Community College, shows evidence of developing and implementing active classroom teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their learning (curricular).
Interacts with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complies with College policies, campus guidelines and expectations.
Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and all learning environments.

The Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute of the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL is building the Carle Clinical Imaging Research Program (CCIRP) with a position to be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The Carle Foundation is a vertically integrated healthcare system with almost 17,000 employees, a multi-specialty physician group, eight hospitals, and health plans. Carle also collaborates extensively with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Illinois) in a number of initiatives. These include the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world's first engineering-based medical school, and the Carle Illinois Advanced Imaging Center (CIAIC).
In addition to the primary appointment at Carle, additional academic appointments are possible in the relevant Illinois departments and at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. Carle is making a multi-million dollar investment in its research infrastructure, including CCIRP, CIAIC, clinical trials management, investigator-initiated support services, and other initiatives.
The CIAIC's principal focus is a 7T Siemens TERRA whole-body MRI scanner, an FDA-approved system that is used for both research and clinical purposes and that is the only such system in the State of Illinois. Carle also has a Siemens 3T Prisma system, a 3T Vida system and two Siemens 1.5T Sola systems that are available for research. CCIRP has existing research programs in MRI physics, translational and clinical neuroimaging at 7T, and musculoskeletal MRI at 3T and 7T.
Applicants are sought who will diversity this portfolio in areas such as pharmacologic MRI, movement disorders, cancer imaging, psychiatry, or other clinical neuroimaging research applications. The successful applicant will be expected to conceptualize, develop, and lead translational and clinical research projects involving 7T MRI; establish and lead a research group; and establish and sustain an independent externally-funded research program. In addition, the successful applicant will provide leadership and key technical expertise in collaborative imaging research projects among Carle basic science and clinical researchers and with investigators and students at Illinois.
