DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain, design, and implement test automation frameworks for a continuous integration and execution model. * Create and design the testing approach (Unit, Functional, Integration, System, User). * Create automation tests by analyzing user stories, acceptance criteria, creating initial test designs, writing scripts, installing the automation testing tools, and reporting results. * Develop a repeatable process for designing, developing, and executing scripts. * Conduct tests, document, and analyze test results, and present findings to development teams. * Preparing reports on all aspects related to software testing. * Participating in project meetings including Agile/Scrum grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups. * Collaborate within an agile software development process with software engineers, subject matter experts and stakeholders. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Understanding and knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies. * Understanding of test cases and negative, positive and regression testing. * Understanding of automation testing and experience writing automation tests for REST APIs and UI. * Experience with writing automation tests using one or more of the following: Postman, Playwright, SpecFlow, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, ect. * Extremely proficient in one or more development languages (i.e. C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, etc.). * Knowledge of industry best practices for manual, automation and performance testing. * Experience with deployments and CI/CD practices. * Experience gathering, refining, and validating business/technical requirements, interdependencies, cross-functional dependencies & risks/issues. * Knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing practices. * Experience with system/platform integrations and the ability to work cross-functionally. * Shows initiative and is motivated to learn. * Strong communication skills (oral and written); ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people. * Strong interpersonal, collaboration and consultative skills. * Strong analytical thinking and problem solving. * Strong attention to detail and committed to a high level of accuracy & quality.
