We provide Occupational, Physical, Speech, and ABA Therapy services to children birth to 18 years of age in our 18 clinics using a play-based model.
As a BCBA, you will be conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of ABA therapy by a team of Registered BehaviorTechnicians (RBTs). BCBA Requirements and Responsibilities:
Master's degree in Behavior Analyst or related fields required
North Carolina BCBA license and BACB certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or obtain the NC license within 30 days of employment required.
Manage up to 4 remote BCBAs.
Coordinate with families, kiddos and RBTs/BTs.
Be the trainer on the ground - manage and train all BTs/RBTs (up to 48).
Be responsible for all care.
Carry a rotating case load of kiddos that need extra attention (not progressing under remote supervision).
Strong patient assessment, patient management, and documentation skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensures the safety of learners served by following all agency procedures on least restrictive environment and alternatives to restrictive interventions
Implements individualized learner treatment plans and behavior intervention plans with fidelity
Accurately collects and records data on learner progress and behavior during each session through the EMR software
Implements group times with up to eight learners while maintaining clinical integrity and learner safety
Provides regular updates and progress reports to the supervising BCBA, participating in team meetings to discuss client progress
Promotes learner morale and dignity through assent-based practices
Participates in ongoing training, treatment team meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA
Implements group times with up to eight learners while maintaining clinical integrity and learner safety
Implements toilet training protocols and goals as instructed
Helps with preparation and organization of program materials/supplies as needed
Adheres to all internal and funder requirements when implementing treatment, billing for services and submitting required session note documentation

Maintains RBT certification per the BACB's requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employees are expected to contribute to maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in shared areas while at the office. Employees may be subject to various noise conditions based on room usage, room type and the use of radio systems to communicate across the building. Employees are expected to assist learners in the bathroom for toilet training and diaper changing.

What You'll Do:
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a center-based setting, following treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by your BCBA.
Use evidence-based strategies to teach functional skills and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Collect and record accurate data during sessions; complete session notes and convert appointments by the end of each session to meet compliance standards.
Maintain punctual attendance and remain available for reassignment when needed to ensure continuity of care.
Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members, referring clinical questions to the BCBA and upholding HIPAA and ethical standards.
