Responsibilities:

assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland) and functional assessment measures
Develops individualized, evidence based, culturally sensitive goals and objectives for home, community, and center-based programs
Designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data
Ensures appropriate behavior data collection systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the
continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individualized data driven goals and objectives
Trains and supports behavior therapists on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems, etc. in the home, community, and center
Conducts regular parent training and consultation, per prescribed plan
Completes re-assessments and writes reports per insurance guidelines
Participates in regular clinical meetings
Agrees to complete 28 (twenty-eight) hours of patient care time each work week.
Completes documentation of services in a timely manner
Qualified Behavior Analysts supervise RBTs
Remains current regarding research and evidence-based practices
Completes competency assessments for RBTs per HealthPro Pediatrics policy timelines
Competently delivers services via telehealth, when necessary
Maintains accurate and up to date "CAQH" profile and NPI
Collaborates and coordinates care with other evidenced based disciplines, medical providers, educators
Completes and maintains all mandatory in house trainings, including telehealth, within the corresponding organization policy timeline
Completes accurate billing practices in the electronic practice management system
Strictly adheres to Behavior Analyst Certification Board's "The Professional and
Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts".

Qualifications:

Fundamental Responsibilities
Directly implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans written by a supervising BCBA consistently.
Conduct client assessments or assist in client assessments that have been designed by the supervising BCBA, when directed to do so by the BCBA.
Collect accurate data for all behavior programs which is then to be given to the BCBA for analysis.
Serve in a direct support role and consult the BCBA regularly for additional support.
Meet regularly with the BCBA to address any program changes, further training, and/or for in-situ supervision.
Adjust interventions or methods as instructed by BCBA.
Be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of each intervention in place for every individual on his/her caseload at all times.
Regularly review treatment plans for all individuals to ensure treatment integrity.
Maintain RBT credentials by completing the RBT Competency Assessment annually as per company guidelines.

Clients include children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, clinic, and school settings. The principles of behavior analysis are to treat patients who have difficulties with socially significant behaviors. These may include social skills, reading, communication, personal self-care and work skills.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Plans and implements intervention strategies using direct therapy, monitoring and consultation under the supervision of a BCBA.
Teaches targeted behaviors using specialized techniques that may include reward systems, incidental teaching and pivotal response training.
Records and tracks data from training sessions.
Reinforces positive behavior with children on caseload.
Communicates effectively (orally and in writing) with administrators, parents and community members.
Provides accurate documentation of intervention, goals and objectives
Facilitates transition among agencies, programs, and professionals as service provision changes (early intervention to pre-school, pre-school to school etc.)
Identifies emergency situations and determines appropriate action to ensure child safety.

About the Role:
The Behavioral Health Technician plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of patients within an inpatient care setting. This position involves direct patient care, assisting with clinical assessments, and implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed clinicians. The technician is responsible for monitoring patient behavior, managing crisis situations effectively, and ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. Accurate clinical documentation and maintaining up-to-date discharge plans are essential to facilitate continuity of care and support multidisciplinary team communication. Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of crisis management and intervention techniques.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
