We are looking to hire Mental Health Technicians for Night shift, 7pm until 7am. MHT's provide high quality care to patients who are hospitalized with psychiatric or emotional disorders. MHT's hired must support the hospital program philosophy of care, support and ensure a therapeutic milieu for all patients, communicate with nursing staff constantly, and participate in the patient plan of care as assigned. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. CPR and SAMA is required (training required and employer provided) Required Licenses: None Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting. Experience in a free standing psychiatric hospital preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills and be a good listener with a pleasant demeanor that encourages and engages others. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize with strong time management skills. Screening: Must successfully pass background check, drug screen, physical, and be able to provide positive employment references.
