As CEO and co-founder of Bitwise Industries, Jake Soberal leads the organization in vision casting, real estate development, new and strategic initiatives, and rallying people around the Bitwise vision.

Jake grew up in Clovis wanting to be president of the United States - a dream, he admits, that didn’t die but transformed into creating opportunities that allow folks from all walks of life to enjoy prosperity in the Central Valley.

He earned a dual degree in history and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a JD from Western State College of Law. Prior to co-founding Bitwise Industries, he practiced intellectual property.

In 2012, over drinks near his Tower District home, an aha moment was had. While meeting with his client, Irma, the two decided to build a company focused on connecting the missing pieces of Fresno’s tech industry, and leveraging it as the driving force to rebuild the city.

When he’s not ensuring Bitwise plays a meaningful part in Fresno’s future, he enjoys spending time with his family, working in his yard, or running. The best part of his role as CEO, he says, is helping people to the belief that the Bitwise vision is possible - that Fresno can do things that are exciting and important.
