The Public Safety Constable reports to the Public Safety Sergeant on duty. This position is responsible for providing the highest quality service that aligns with the core values of Saint Francis and Trinity Health. During times of staff shortage or exigent situations, overtime may be requested. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED required. + A valid motor vehicle license and a satisfactory driving record are required. Must be able to obtain an Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) license within one year of employment. + Must maintain weapon certifications in accordance with the Delaware State Police Professional Licensing Section and departmental standards. + CPR and AED certification is required within six months of employment. + Prior law enforcement experience is preferred. The candidate must be able to meet the requirements of a Constable (State of Delaware) in accordance with Title 24, Chapter 56 of the Delaware Code, within 18 months of hire. + Must have a minimum of two years' experience in law enforcement, security, and/or public service (Fire/EMS) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
