We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by consistently cleaning, maintaining the assigned area of the resort . Assists with stocking and inventory. Routine cleaning of showers, restrooms, hobby rooms and community areas. Event set-ups as well as tear down and clean up afterwards. You will need a working knowledge of proper chemical mixing, and usage, in addition to stripping and waxing floors. Ability to work both independently and well as with others. Off-season projects may include deeper types of cleaning and small maintenance type tasks. Typical hours are M-F 4:30am - 1:30pm.

Responsibilities:
Effectively use provided equipment -- including vacuum, mops and cleaning solutions
Clean all surfaces in the clubhouse and common areas fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floor
Vacuum, carpet, hard surface floors, and furniture
Empties trash baskets/containers and ashtrays.
Move all reasonably moveable furniture to clean under and behind
Cleans toilets, urinals, wash basins and showers.
Seasonal deep cleaning and light maintenance tasks
Cleans leaves, dirt, paper and other debris from around buildings and in the courtyard/pool area.
Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintaining equipment
A general knowledge of safety procedures and equipment pertinent to the work is required
Contributes to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contributes to the overall team by being dependable, and on time
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
Valid drivers license, with 39 month driving record provided.
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs of equipment

Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
* Must provide a minimum of 1-year restaurant experience or equivalent training.

Job summary:
Responsible for the production of all baked goods, pastries and desserts (referred to as pastries) for the restaurant.
Essential functions:
Must be willing and able to:
* Perform a daily "walk through" inventory in order to prioritize product utilization
* Identify and communicate inventory and equipment needs to ordering manager
* Meet daily with executive chef to coordinate and ensure production standards
* Assist in the development and maintenance of pastry recipe books prescribing ingredients, product specifications, and portion sizes
* Assist in the development of dessert menus and items
* Produce pastries for the restaurant as well as for special functions
* Prepare ingredients needed for recipes of pastry items
* Prepare pastry items according to prescribed recipes
* Maintain food quality standards including consistency and presentation
* Coordinate proper food storage according to standing operating procedure
* Work dessert station on line when necessary
* Use equipment as prescribed in preparation of menu items
* Safely and efficiently use knives and other utensils necessary to complete preparation of menu items
* Operate functions of position alone and without assistance if necessary
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety
* Communicate problems to management immediately

* Review catering function agenda on a daily basis
* Confirm guest reservations with management to determine preparation quantities

* Assist servers in preparing appropriate presentation of pastry items

Requirements
Qualification standards:
Prefer a minimum of 1-year pastry chef experience in a full service restaurant or the equivalent.
Must be willing and able to:
* Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
* Provide a clean, well-manicured persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
* Safely transport containers which weigh up to 30 pounds
* Stand and/or walk for an entire shift
* Safely transport items to and from the kitchen on a slick and uneven surface and stairs where applicable
* Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
* Work a variable and flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
* Perform in limited physical space with variable ventilation, smoke and extreme temperatures
