The Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing parts shipments and prepares items for shipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Deliver parts to technicians
Ensure that areas of the parts department are properly stocked
Assists the service department by moving vehicles as needed and delivering vehicles to other repair facilities for sublet repairs
Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed by the parts or service departments
Deliver mail to the post office each evening
Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors, and dusting parts bins daily
Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when parts have been replaced
Performs other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Inspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice
Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipts
Part new vehicles in assigned areas
Catalogs and stores keys
Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order
Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
Wash vehicles exterior using all the proper cleaning solution and equipment
Vacuum interior of vehicle to remove all dirt and debris, while carefully not disturbing customers personal items

Provides customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties
Converts cash deals to finance
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer
Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval
Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner
Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction

RESPONSIBILITIES
Upfit new police and government vehicles, including the installation of prisoner containment, push bars, seats, dividers, and other accessories.
Develop a strong understanding of our company s products, equipment, requirements, and objectives to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Complete installations in a timely manner, meeting schedule deadlines set by the Department Manager.
Verify that all installation items have been properly installed and accurately complete workshop orders.
Follow and adhere to all quality and safety standards for installation procedures, ensuring work passes a final quality inspection.
Conduct vehicle check-in and check-out inspections with meticulous attention to detail.
Perform work as outlines on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.

Road test vehicles to ensure the quality of the work performed.

Pulls and fills orders from stock.

Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.

Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.

Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.

Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
Implements and maintains a service marketing program.
Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
Ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Makes sure they are locked, and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
Keeps service department forms, menus and pricing guides up to date.
Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
Inspects all vehicles for body work, informs customer if work is needed, and provides an estimate for body work.

This position pays anywhere from $ 25.00- $ 65.00 per flat rate hour based on experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform all work as designated on repair orders.
Inform service advisor if additional work is needed.
Assist in training and supervising apprentices/T-10 students (when applicable).
Attend all training sessions and meetings.

Implements and maintains a service marketing program.
Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
Ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Makes sure they are locked and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
Keeps service department forms, menus and pricing guides up-to-date.

Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer.
Ensure that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
Keeps current on new products and products updates.
Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
Maintains professional appearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform vehicle maintenance procedures, including tire rotations, oil change, transmission flushes, and fuel injections, with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
Conduction lubrication, safety inspections, and related services to maintain vehicle performance.
Maintain records on regular customers, ensuring personalized service and satisfaction.
Drain and refill crankcase oil, replacing oil and air filters as necessary.
Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish as needed!
Check tire pressure and adjust as required.
Apply specified lubricants to lubricate moving parts.
Collaborate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts for repairs.
Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Document all work performed on the repair order accurately.
Participate in manufacturer technical bulletins to ensure knowledge of the latest advancements.
Maintain cleanliness of customers cars and promptly notify the service advisor of any changes in appearance or condition.
Keep the shop area clean and organized, creating an efficient work environment.
Ensure proper handling and accountability of dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in the same condition as received.
Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know and other applicable standards.
Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner, prioritizing safety at all times.
Report any safety issues to management immediately.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work with efficiency and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and service advisors effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
