You'll work second shift and four, 10-hour shifts with some additional overtime available on Fridays so you can earn some extra spending money. Under the direct supervision of department supervisor in a manufacturing environment an individual will MIG weld aluminum trailers.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team environment. In order to perform this job successfully an individual will have the ability to read/understand work orders and how to read/use a tape measure or other necessary measuring devices and have reliable and consistent work history with good attendance. Candidate must be able to successfully complete the Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) to required standard and Pre-employment drug screen. The duties and responsibilities below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Use a MIG welder to build/prepare aluminum trailers using drawings in the set-up, middle and/or finish capacity.
· Attention to detail.
· Comprehend and follow checklists, masters and prints.
· Conduct all work in a safe manor while following Aluma's safety policy.
· Maintain all Aluma quality standards including; recognize parts issues and defects so they can be corrected.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described below are representative of those that mut be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
· Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. force frequently and lift 10-20 lbs. consistently.
· Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hours.
· Must be able to use hands to handle or feel; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and ability to use a steel stool.
· Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
· Specific vision abilities required include, close, distance, color, depth and peripheral vision.
