FLSA: Non-Exempt, Part Time
Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours with a varied schedule including evenings and holidays.
Weekend availability required.
This position varies from 12-28 hours per week. Open availability is required for this position including afternoon, morning shifts on both weekdays, weekends and holidays. Final schedule will be determined by the Senior Manager of Guest Services & Membership and the candidate selected for this position.
Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour
Position Summary:
The Guest Services Associate is a part-time position responsible for the direct day-to-day operations of the front desk ensuring an excellent member and guest experience from the point of entry to the zoo while processing box office and online admission tickets and selling and renewing memberships, thus honoring the Butterfly Pavilion's mission and guaranteeing repeat guest and member visitation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Guest Services and Front Desk
Set the tone of the guest experience by creating a welcoming environment by greeting each guest and member with enthusiasm and processing admission with accuracy.
Follow opening and closing procedure for the front desk.
Process admission tickets, new memberships and renewals, discounts and phone reservations through the POS system.
Check in and process payments for group reservations.
Be knowledgeable about and follow policies and procedures.
Cash handling: issue accurate change to guests and count down cash drawer at the end of shift with minimal error.
Preform daily tasks including but not limited to answering the main phone line and transferring calls, data entry, lost and found processing, creating membership packets and other duties as assigned.
Be knowledgeable about all areas of Butterfly Pavilion and accurately share the information with guests and members through face-to-face interactions, phone and email.
Communicate with supervisor about computer malfunction or system issues.

Membership Sales and Services:
Sell and renew memberships to meet daily and weekly revenue goals.
Be extremely knowledgeable about membership levels, pricing, policies and procedures.
Address member issues and needs accurately and timely.
Answer all incoming questions about membership through face-to-face interactions, phone and email.
Process online memberships.
Create and distribute membership packets.
Membership form data entry and update records.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

The Division of Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking highly motivated and accomplished scientists for full-time faculty positions. The TRIO Upward Bound (UB) Program at the Community College of Aurora is a federally funded TRIO program that provides academic support and college preparation services to sixty (60) participants from Aurora Central High School, ranging from 9th to 12th grade. The program is designed to help students from low-income and first-generation backgrounds develop the academic skills, motivation, and confidence needed to successfully complete high school and transition to postsecondary education.
Under the direction of the TRIO Upward Bound Director and in collaboration with the Concurrent Enrollment department, the Upward Bound Project Advisor will support the day-to-day operations of the program, including planning, implementing, and coordinating activities and services. The Advisor will work directly with students to promote academic achievement, personal growth, and college readiness. Key responsibilities include providing academic advising and support, individual and group counseling, and exposure to career and educational opportunities. The Advisor will also assist with developing and coordinating educational programming such as tutoring, Academic Saturday sessions, college and career exploration trips, and summer programs. Additional duties include maintaining accurate student data and records for institutional and federal reporting and collaborating with high school administrators and staff to identify and recruit eligible participants.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Dean of the University Libraries, this position serves as the Associate Dean for Scholarly Communication and Collections Services. The Associate Dean carries overall leadership responsibility for collections and scholarly communication. The Associate Dean is expected to guide strategic planning, develop programs, and manage services in support of discovery and access to scholarly resources, whether licensed, purchased, or openly available. Who You Are
As the Creative Project & Client Manager, you serve in a part-time capacity, providing project management and client support within the Strategic Marketing & Communications department. This role serves as the main point of contact for external departments across the college, managing marketing and communications requests from intake through completion.
