Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a self-motivated Bridge CADD Drafter to join our Ohio Bridge Group. Arcadis' Bridge Group delivers “best in class” technical and innovative solutions to our clients on the design, delivery and management of these critical structural resources to our State, municipal and design-build clients. In this position, you will assist the team in the development of bridge and structural drawings to ensure high quality deliverables for multiple clients. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Role accountabilities:
Develop bridge plans utilizing Microstation and Open Bridge Modeler
Serve as a technical resource to assist others on the team with plan production
Perform structural and bridge design tasks including but not limited to bridge geometry calculations and quantity calculations
Work on a wide variety of urban and rural projects from preliminary design through final structures plans
Verify drawings for accuracy and assist in the review of project submittals for compliance with design checklist and drafting standards
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 15-years' experience
Proficient with CAD, particularly Microstation, Open Roads, Open Bridge
Familiarity with state design standards and policies, particularly Ohio DOT
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 10 years' Experience in a consulting environment
Design Build experience
Experience with NCDOT, TDOT, GDOT, and/or FDOT bridge policies and procedures desired

SUMMARY
Westerman is looking for a full-time Drafter responsible for initiating and developing project mechanical and electrical drawing packages for oil and gas processing and production equipment from conception through project completion based on customer specifications and purchase order requirements. All designs will be accomplished in 3D CAD. All mechanical fabrication drawings are direct extracts from the 3D model with minimal 2D manipulation of the finished drawings. The core responsibilities of this position are for P&ID drafting, 3D model completion, General Arrangement drawing completion, and completion 2D mechanical fabrication drawings.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Create 3D models, General Arrangement drawings, and associated mechanical fabrication drawings.
Perform peer drawing checks for accuracy and compliance.
Miscellaneous 2D drafting work.
Preparing of 3D model mechanical BOM's for review/approval by Engineering.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
