Essential Functions:

Contacts:
Drivers frequently deal with customers and other employees (dispatchers, service technicians, other drivers, and office personnel). Education:

Certification and Testing:
Class B Commercial Drivers License with hazardous materials endorsement is required. CETP training and certification is required to deliver propane. Apprentice oil burner license is required for oil delivery drivers who prime furnaces. All delivery drivers must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical. All delivery drivers are subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
Equipment Used:
Delivery vehicle and hose/nozzle, loading rack, priming equipment, wrenches, safety equipment (glasses, gloves, hard hat, shovel, speedy dry), and chock blocks. Decisions Made: The driver makes decisions regarding route planning and whether to make a delivery based on safety issues and weather concerns. Other decisions are made with input from appropriate office or dispatch personnel. Drivers are also expected to decide on the appropriate administrative, service or delivery personnel to direct customer concerns encountered in the field.
Safety Considerations:
Safety considerations relate to safe operation of the delivery truck and the safe transfer of petroleum products from the delivery vehicle to the customer's tank. Any accidents, spills, overfills, or wrong deliveries are immediately reported to the employee's supervisor.

Work Environment:

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years job related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and a demonstrated commitment to student aid.
Basic knowledge of accounting and billing services.
Must be capable of independent judgement, highly motivated with strong organizational skills.
Must be flexible with good interpersonal skills.
Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, staff, managers, and the general public.
Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

As a Career Advisor with Fedcap Families at our South Paris site, you'll be the primary point of support for a caseload of program participants facing barriers to economic wellbeing and seeking meaningful employment opportunities and self-sufficiency. You'll work with participants from the time they are referred to our program until they find employment. Working in concert with other team members, you'll serve as a mentor, liaison, and troubleshooter. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Managing a caseload of participants, orienting them to our program and jointly developing Career Plans that outline their career goals and specific action steps to increase employability and address existing barriers to employment.
Building trusting relationships with participants and providing individualized services using a variety of modes to appeal and cater to participants' distinct preferences and engagement styles.
Identifying needed support services (childcare, transportation, job training, and educational services, etc.) and making referrals to both internal and external services, coordinating effectively with other team members.
Developing quality resumes, cover letters, and other employment materials to assist participants seeking employment.
Providing outstanding service to all program participants throughout their journey and acting with a non-judgmental approach, demonstrating high levels of unconditional positive regard.
Completing administrative tasks in a timely manner, including receiving referrals, scheduling appointments, returning phone calls and other communications, and documenting all participant interactions.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree preferred OR high school diploma/GED plus equivalent experience.
Multi-lingual skills: If you speak, read and write in Lingala, French and English, that is a big plus!!
Minimum of one year of experience in career services, case management, workforce development, or social services OR in a related field such as education, healthcare administration, retail or hospitality management, or human resources.
High level of cultural sensitivity, knowledge of trauma-informed approaches, and understanding of equality in workforce development and employment services.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to prioritize urgent or sensitive needs and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and other technology systems to manage caseload and performance needs.
Valid US Driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits
Minimum starting salary $46,000+, depending on experience.

Position Description

Education and Experience
+ At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
+ Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications also a plus

Must have the ability to:
+ Work various shifts ranging in hours, including weekends.
+ Stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours in length.
