Class A Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy-duty commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Drivers must comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as company policies, to ensure safe, timely, and reliable deliveries.

Route Planning: Plan and adjust delivery routes based on traffic, weather, and road conditions to ensure on-time deliveries.
Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring materials are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, updates, and any changes.
Documentation Management: Accurately complete delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Success
Successful Class A Drivers demonstrate a clean driving record, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials as required.
Qualifications
A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred, though a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge for successful job performance will qualify.
Must possess a valid Oregon Class A Driver's license with a "T" endorsement (doubles, triples, tankers), Manual Transmission Experience, and be at least 21 years of age.
A clean driving record is required, along with the ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Medical Certification Clearance Card, FMSC Clearinghouse registration, and O.T. registration are required.
Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience operating Class A vehicles and/or relevant training, with previous delivery experience in wholesale products and warehouse environments strongly preferred.
Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of driving laws, regulations, adherence to speed limits, and familiarity with procedures in the event of an accident, either in the warehouse or while driving.
Ability to perform long hours of driving, as well as moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Able to work a five-day work week with flexibility for overtime, as needed.
Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and oral communication.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to sequence tasks effectively (e.g., by size, alphabetically, or numerically) and group similar items together.

Peterson Cat has a need for a Temporary Tractor Trailer Driver at our Medford, OR location. This is a full-time, temporary position expected to last no longer than 8 to 10 months.
SUMMARY
The Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for deliveries and retrieval of rental equipment at customer sites with various delivery vehicles up to 98,000 lbs. G.V.W.R.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Monitor, maintain and inspect assigned delivery vehicles in accordance with manufacturer, company, and DOT guidelines, including daily DOT vehicle operational safety inspections. It is also the driver's responsibility to ensure that all required registrations, permits and inspections are current and valid.
Load and transport rental equipment in a safe and secure manner following DOT guidelines for secure and tie-down of equipment.
Interact with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner including listening, gaining understanding, and accurately relaying customer concerns, and complaints to the appropriate person.
Deliver and retrieve equipment to and from customer sites.
Inspect equipment for damage when picking up equipment from customers.
Fuel rental equipment as required.
Wash and maintain rental equipment as directed.
Complete all rental and related documents in an accurate and timely manner.
Work on an "on call" 24/7 basis as required for emergency equipment deliveries.
Follow all company safety rules and use of applicable personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote positive company image by professional conduct, personal appearance, and truck appearance.
Operate company or personal vehicle as needed.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Work overtime as needed within labor law and DOT guidelines.
Must wear company provided uniform when performing the above-mentioned job functions.

We're hiring both experienced (minimum 6 months) and New CDL A holders for Over-The-Road positions. This is an excellent opportunity for new Truck Drivers to get proper training by professionals and gain experience with us after the training.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
On-the-Account: miles per week (2500-to-3000)
Home Time:
2 weeks out and 2 days' home.
Pay:
Earning per week: $ 1,200 to $ 1,400
Training Pay: $650 per week
Training Duration: 4-6 weeks
Duties:
Driving Dry Van and some Refrigerated Loads to deliver designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL license
Must be at least 21 years' old
Minimum 0 months' experience

The orders must be delivered correctly and on time in a very courteous manner. It is also expected from Delivery Drivers to make sure that the delivery vehicles are well maintained before and after the shift. Delivery Drivers aid in food preparation, taking customer's orders, cleaning duties and rotating food shipments that include lifting up to 50 pounds. They must also be well versed when it comes to product details, services, charges, and other related important information which will be related to customers whenever it is needed.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be required to work outdoors in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust or toxic chemicals. This job can be physically demanding: the team member may be required to use hand repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop or kneel.

Wage for all Delivery Drivers is minimum wage, reimbursement for gas consumption based on a third party surveyor's recommended reimbursement rate, currently at $1.60 per run, reimbursement for data usage and any credit card/cash tips paid to the driver from the customers.
Delivery Drivers must:
Have attention to detail
Have a sense of urgency in all aspects of the job
Be customer focused with strong initiative
Have cash management skills
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works, and have been licensed for two or more years
Have an acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, which includes no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year. Anyone with a DUI or speeding ticket over 25 mph will not be considered for the position
Be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
Be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
Be willing to learn and be comfortable being cross-trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed and work the above listed duties with reasonable accommodation if needed
