The group offers both scholarships and loans to students who qualify. Students interested in scholarships must live in a residence hall as a first-time freshman and sign a statement of intent to attend school at PCC for all four years. As PCC is a private school, tuition costs are the same for in-state or out-of-state students. Additional fees may apply based on housing and transportation arrangements. Admissions require that students have a high school diploma or GED; current high school students can opt for a dual-enrollment program. SAT or ACT scores are required, but special permissions may allow some students to opt out.

There is also a strong film presence in Ann Arbor, with many major motion pictures being shot there and the annual Ann Arbor Film Festival, which brings in filmmakers from all over the world. On-campus housing is guaranteed for undergraduate students but is not required. Financial aid is available to eligible students in the form of loans, grants, work-study, scholarships and fellowships. Performance-based scholarships are also available in specific university programs.
