About the Role:
The Food Scientist supports the Value Engineering team by leading the design, planning, validation, and implementation of cost savings, efficiency improvements, and consolidation projects across the TreeHouse Foods portfolio. About the role
We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Dairy Scientist to join our R&D team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in dairy science, food technology, microbiology or related fields to develop, optimize, and support innovative dairy products and solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including product development, process engineering, and commercial teams-to deliver high-quality, market-leading dairy flavors.
Key responsibilities
Develop and optimize flavor formulations for a variety of dairy products (e.g., yogurt, cheese, beverages, desserts) through the use of cultures, enzymes, materials and processes.
Lead application trials and pilot plant runs to validate new concepts and processes.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges, providing technical support to both internal stakeholders and customers.
Stay current with industry trends, new ingredients, and processing technologies relevant to dairy applications.
Document and communicate findings, protocols, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
Support commercialization efforts by scaling up successful prototypes and assisting with plant trials.
Ensure all work complies with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or a related field.
3+ years of experience in dairy product development or applications (internships and co-ops considered).
Strong knowledge of dairy ingredients, processing technologies, and product functionality.
Hands-on experience with pilot plant equipment and laboratory analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%)}
Experience working directly with customers or in a B2B environment.

The typical hiring range for this role is $91,311 to $149,080 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs various special procedures using radiological techniques in the cardiac catheterization Lab/Electrophysiology Lab for diagnostic and placement purposes, as directed by the performing Cardiologist/ EP Physician.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Skillfully uses various radiological equipment to perform special procedures including cine radiography, angiography, radiotherapy, and the like consistent with department procedures and professional practice.
Prepares patients for examination and assist in the examination
Inspects and maintains equipment to assure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area, make exposures, and assists physician during fluoro exam.
Operates machinery to produce radiographic images in screen/film and fluoroscopic modes
Moves x-ray equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time, distance and shielding.
Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to self, patient, and staff.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability in performing the following procedures:Cerebral and carotid Angiogram, extremity and pelvis Angiogram, femoral run-off, aortic arch, subtraction, injection factors, and catheter usage.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability in use of departmental equipment C-arm and radiographic equipment.
Demonstrates ability to address proper safety procedure including shielding from radiation, equipment safety, and patient safety.
Demonstrates ability to address privacy issues including consent forms and patient procedures being performed.
Prepares the catheterization laboratory folder in accordance with department standards, procedures, and guidelines
Competently completes and enters pre-procedure patient demographic data in homodynamic computer, Operates homodynamic and physiologic monitoring system (pressure sampling, waveforms, procedure log and equipment utilized.
Participates in the On Call Program for emergency cardiac cath lab procedures on rotating basis expected to be within the premises and ready to work within thirty (30) minutes of the initial page.
Successfully completes requested cross training and demonstrates an ability to perform in every function in the cath lab area within designated scope of practice. Consistently adheres to the policies and procedures of the department.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
An Associates degree from an American Medical Association approved course in radiologic technology.
Must be eligible for certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE :
One to two years of experience as a radiology technician is required.
Experience or training in a defined functional area of special procedures is required.

Start a career where You Matter by applying today! Job Overview Reporting to the QC Supervisor, the QC Chemist III is responsible for raw material, in-process, isolated intermediate, or finished good testing in a GMP laboratory environment.
The QC Chemist III will provide technical knowledge to the role and assist junior staff with troubleshooting activities as necessary.
Responsibilities Follow all FDA, ICH, cGMP, cGLP, DEA, and internal SOP requirements as they related to Phase III and commercial GMP laboratory operation.
Adhere to all OSHA and company safety requirements and practices.
Perform a wide variety of chemical analyses for release of raw materials, in-process, intermediates, finished goods, and stability.
Support/maintain laboratory programs such as calibration/preventive maintenance, IQ/OQ/PQ.
Perform in-depth out of specification or out of trend laboratory investigations of non-complying or aberrant results.
Support the implementation and training efforts for new laboratory instrumentation or software.
Perform data review of QC data as necessary.
Independently perform troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
Strong working knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, GC, and GC-HS.
Working knowledge of wet chemistry.
Write controlled documents such as reports, test procedures, SOPs, etc.
Evaluate validity of test results.
May assist in training employees within the department.
Topics may include, but are not limited to, instrumentation, analytical concepts, or equipment troubleshooting.
Perform and document method transfer from Analytical Development.
May perform method evaluation experiments as necessary.
Handle, analyze and dispose of hazardous samples and waste.
May need to provide off-shift coverage as required.
Maintain laboratory solutions, inventory and notebooks utilizing a LIMS.
Coordinate and communicate project status with a proven ability to handle various assignments and organize workload to meet timelines.
May interact with outside vendors and other departments.

Qualifications/Skills Strong cGMP experience.
Experience testing against USP and EP compendia.
Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation (GC, HPLC, and UPLC).

Strong chemistry theory.
Proven ability to handle various project loads with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Effective communication skills (oral, written).

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements BS/BA in Chemistry/Biology or related science field required Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Chemistry/Biology or related science field preferred Minimum of 6-7 years (with a BS) or 5-6 years (with an advanced degree) of direct laboratory experience with chromatographic techniques in an industry related setting.
Preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
