Essential Role and Responsibilities: * Unlike lawn, landscaping, snow plowing or construction jobs, our work is not seasonal. We provide year-round work opportunity. * This is an entry level position designed to train the individual in the various aspects of becoming a drilling/exploration team member including equipment maintenance (i.e. augers, bits, etc.), equipment operation, and a general knowledge of reading civil plans.

Under direction and supervision of the Staff Services Captain and Patrol Division Commanders a Community Resource Officer (CRO) will work with a variety of entities to accomplish proactive and problem-solving community policing objectives; assist sworn and civilian employees of the Dubuque Police Department in their daily duties; and get exposure to a variety of law enforcement related duties and training.
