This individual will serve a key function in providing the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities + Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans for projects using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment. + Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects. + Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments. Essential Skills + BS in Civil Engineering + EIT Certification + 4+ years of experience in site design, site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion + Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment, starting with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, transitioning to 2 days in the office and 3 days from home after a few months. The Philadelphia office has a staff of 90 people.
