Overview
Provides forensic consulting services requiring CivilEngineering expertise for insurance, legal, industrial, and other clients. * Field Investigations: Study and determine the cause and origin of construction defects or structural failures and/or damage and building envelope failures and/or damage, as well as determine the extent and repairability of such failures and/or damage. Due to the custom nature of the equipment and its application, the Project Engineer will gain valuable experience in many design disciplines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops custom air handler solutions by reviewing detailed job specifications, selecting components, generating mechanical drawings, and create bills of material.
Support production processes in order to eliminate any questions, concerns, and/or roadblocks during manufacture.
Supports new product development with conceptual designs, layouts, and bill of materials as needed.
Supports continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design / design for manufacturing (DFM)
Assists with production and/or customer testing of completed systems.
Commercializes new control solutions such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and networking.
Provides Mechanical Engineering expertise and/or support to other departments as needed
