Impact Recruitment has recently partnered with an established and growing Civil Engineering and Land Surveying company and leader in the Land Development sector. We are assisting them in their search for a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager in Franklin, Tennessee.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate engineer to work directly with local and national land development projects. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary office environment.
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for oversight and scheduling of all aspects of work within a project team including review of work at all project stages, coordination with discipline leaders, and management of project activities.
Responsible for overseeing and managing production of design for site plans, grading plans, details, erosion controls, access road plans, profiles and cross-sections, utility and storm drainage plans and profiles, general notes and plan notations, specification preparation, and bid document preparation.
Projects include design development of municipal infrastructure, such as sewer, water, storm, grading, and transportation.
Establish and maintain client relations through regular and constructive communication with clientele and project team members.
What you need to have:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Required. Master's degree preferred.
Registered Professional Engineer license in Tennessee is required
Must have 8 or more years of civil engineering design experience.
5-10 years of experience as a civil engineer with a focus on Commercial, Residential and/or Industrial land development projects. Public Works Experience a plus.
Effective communication with clients, sub-consultants, and local & state regulatory agencies is required.
The successful candidate will work in collaborative and integrated teams of professionals that include civil engineers, architects, land surveyors, planners, and environmental specialists.

Lead business development efforts to expand practice locally
