Responsibilities Use established CADD standards to prepare electronic design and construction drawings from engineer markups or verbal instructions. Draft and design civil improvements for treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, pipelines, storage vessels, and related municipal/industrial water infrastructure. Prepare precise drawings and specifications that display scale, dimensions, material details, and construction procedures. Develop and update design files in AutoCAD Civil 3D including alignments, profiles, grading, and pipeline infrastructure. Incorporate redlines and design changes efficiently while maintaining clarity and accuracy. Organize and schedule work to meet project budgets and timelines. Perform drawing reviews and maintain organized project files. Communicate and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members. Requirements Basic Requirements Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field. Proficient in AutoCAD and able to visualize designs in 2D or 3D dimensions. Attention to detail. Ability to work occasional overtime. Familiarity working in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing engineering activities for multiple construction projects. This role provides technical expertise and project oversight, ensuring that all administrative and engineering aspects align with project goals.
