This position is responsible for delivering products, including hazardous materials, to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #1050, located at: 13045 Gulf Commerce Dr Ste A Houston TX 77034
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
Load customer orders properly on the truck

Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers

Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must have a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement
Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed "medical examiner" listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry or be willing to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

The Shuttle Driver (CDL Class A, B or C with Passenger Endorsement) is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.
Responsibilities:
Taking all steps necessary to ensure the safety of the ridership as well as those around the shuttle.
Making quality and reliability of service one of their top priorities.
Greet customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, display a caring attitude, and develop a rapport with all passengers.
Anticipate guest needs wherever possible and exhibit a sincere desire to meet or exceed them.
Assist passengers with general information about local area.

Perform daily/ routine cleaning and shuttle maintenance activities; maintain neat and orderly appearance to include assigned uniforms.
Exercise care in the handling of funds and reporting of lost articles.
Conduct re-fueling activities, to include maintaining assigned fuel usage logs.
Comply with Federal DOT requirements, State driving regulations, safety rules and procedures.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, supervisors, managers, etc.
Use two-way radio to interact with dispatch office and/or supervisor.
Report accidents, problems, and other required shuttle information (both mechanical and cosmetic) to management in a timely manner.
Keep the shuttle bus secure and follow all safety procedures.
Maintain alertness and be observant of any activity, both authorized and unauthorized, and take appropriate actions.
Adhere to all safety codes and OSHA standard.
Respond to all guest/visitor inquiries and resolve service/ customer discrepancies accordingly in a respectable manner.
Perform other related/ additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have valid CDL A, B or C license and have at least one (1) year of licensed driving experience, with passenger endorsement.
Must have a current Medical Certificate on file with the DMV.

Are you looking for an exciting career with a nationally known company and industry leader? AmeriGas Propane, the largest distributor of propane in the United States, is searching for an energetic and customer service-oriented person to join us as a Transport Driver.
Responsibilities:
As a Transport Driver you will drive a tanker truck (11,400 gallon capacity) to pick up propane at the supply point (e.g. refinery, pipeline terminal, storage facility) and deliver it to area AmeriGas facilities. The driver will make four to five pick-ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day. Approximately 80 percent of the driver's time is spent driving or waiting in line at the supply point. Duties include, but are not limited to:
β’ Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery and deliver to area AmeriGas facilities; approximately 45 minutes is required to load or unload the truck.
β’ Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker.
β’ Use permanent hoses attached to the filling ports or the hoses stored in the truck to unload the tanker. The hoses stored on the truck come in two sizes: 20 feet long, three inches in diameter; and 19 feet long, 1Β½ inches in diameter.
β’ Perform twice daily truck inspections.
β’ May climb ladders at some AmeriGas facilities to check gauges at the top of the bulk tanks.
