**Position Summary**
As a Compliance Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the assessment and execution of compliance regulations. You will leverage your clinical and business expertise to ensure Aetna pharmacy is meeting compliance standards as it relates to Mental Health Parity and state regulations Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help prioritize regulatory responses, assess NQTL reporting, and assist with regulatory responses.
What will you do:
· Independently collecting facts and utilizing strong clinical analytical capabilities to provide guidance on Mental Health Parity NQTL analysis in accordance with MHPAEA standards and providing recommendations on formulary updates to ensure compliance.
· Researching and responding to state inquiries from regulatory agencies
· Respond to Mental Health Parity intake requests
· Responding to complex compliance requests for information within area of responsibility
· Monitor pharmacy compliance activities to identify and report trends
· Collaborate with teams to assess reporting to identify and/or develop responses and potential changes to ensure compliance.
· Assist the compliance regulatory team with gathering information and developing responses for Market Conduct Exams.
· Help refine business needs analysis methods to establish requirements and specifications for processes improvement.
· Work closely with actuary team to assess financial impacts due to regulations.

The typical pay range for this role is:

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

The role of the Clinical Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Advisor team, a specially developed, clinical program for CVS Caremark, is to provide support and consultation to targeted members regarding the disease state(s) supported by the program. Through the use of sophisticated modeling and systems, we are able to identify members who meet the desired counseling opportunity criteria. Outbound calls are made (with return inbound calls likely) directly to patients. Pharmacists in the Pharmacy Advisor program will complete an internal, disease-specific training program including learning the innovative skill of behavioral modification and interviewing. The Pharmacy Advisor Clinical Pharmacist will have the ability to work in a highly charged, fast paced call center as well as participate in the further development and refinement of work systems, tools, processes and procedures.
This is a remote role open to qualified candidates residing in AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, or PA and holding active, unrestricted pharmacist licensure within their state of residence.
**Required Qualifications**
- 1+ years in Retail, LTC, Hospital or PBM pharmacy experience, or other pharmacist-to-patient consultation experience
- Experience working with patients with chronic disease states, especially diabetes.

+ Populate all authorization and denial information fields within the OnBase information system.
+ Enter all authorizations into the Argus IPNS information system to allow claim adjudication.
+ Complete other assigned duties as specified.
+ Identify and report improper coordination of benefit billing practices through paid clams review.
+ Participate as pharmacy representative in onsite member appeals and grievances sessions.
