What you will do: (responsibilities listed are included but not limited to)
Performs comprehensive evaluations, assessing the social, emotional and support needs of the patients and their families
Sets measurable objectives that are formulated in conjunction with the rehab team
Assists the physician and other health team members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health problems
Instructs/counsels' patients and families in treating and coping with social and emotional response connected with illnesses
Participates in care coordination activities and acts as a resource to other health team members in the identification and resolution of patient needs
Identifies and assists the patient and/or family to utilize appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives
Qualifications
What you'll need:
Master's Degree in ClinicalSocial Work (LCSW)
Current Licensed ClinicalSocialWorker Licensure in the state of practice
Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or acute diagnosis
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certification required
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

Required Qualifications:

The anticipated starting base salary for a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Lyra is between $78,000 annually. The base salary is determined by role and placement within the range, and will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, and location.

About the Role
The Social Services team at NLSLA provides trauma-informed, client-centered support to individuals and families experiencing economic hardship, unstable housing, domestic violence, and other complex life challenges. What You'll Do
· Provide trauma-informed short-term counseling to individuals and families facing economic or housing instability.
· Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and service plans aligned with CSBG requirements.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
MA, MS, MSW, PsyD or PhD in a related field of human services from an accredited school. Proficiency in threshold language is required of positions primarily assigned to mono-lingual clients.
(Some contracts may allow waiver of advanced degree, with a minimum BA/BA and two or more years of directly relevant experience.)
Additional Requirements:
Must be license-eligible or a registered intern and must have a minimum of one semester of relevant practicum, working with adolescents or families.
