As a result, our teams work closely with consumers in a community-based approach, overcoming the barriers of multiple hospitalizations and treatment non-adherence. Complex Care team members are provided with the tools/skills necessary to advocate, assist, and motivate consumers to take part in their recovery. Complex Care Licensed Clinicians provide trauma informed therapeutic services utilizing evidenced based practices to empower individuals. Together, we work to integrate individuals back in the community, instill hope in recovery, and provide the additional support for mental health needs. MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience * Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited university * Complete the Qualified Mental Health Professional Community Services (QMHP-CS) within six (6) weeks of hire or transfer. Young Center is appointed as independent Child Advocate for unaccompanied and separated immigrant children and advocates for their best interests with respect to their custody, placement, conditions of release, reunification with caregivers, repatriation, and their immigration proceedings. Young Center does not directly represent children in immigration matters but works closely with the legal service providers who may represent the children's legal interests. Young Center also does not provide direct mental health or therapeutic services to children but gathers information about access to and advocates for trauma-informed and culturally responsive services. Proficient in effectively navigating and managing crisis situations. Experience in administering psychological assessments (for clinical psychologists) Strong knowledge and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments with a focus on CBT as a core treatment modality. Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counsellor in current country Must be able to provide onsite support for our clients (can include counselling and psychoeducation sessions) Good to have: Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health professionals.
