Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer II with a strong background in crane design and advanced proficiency in SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, hold a SolidWorks Professional Certification (CSWP), and preferably possess the Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) credential. This role involves designing custom crane systems and components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop crane systems, components, and assemblies using SolidWorks
Use Automated 3D Models and adapt Models for project drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure design meets customer needs and the Company's design requirements.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards and safety regulations
Self-sufficient, assist with technical and engineering documents as needed
Interact with design professionals, customers, and suppliers to engineer project
Assists with project technical drawings, calculations, and submittals.
3D design work, ability to execute moderate to complex design projects
Design, models, size and specifies components, create detailing and BOM
Assists with project documentation including submittal and fabrication drawings, Bill of Materials, spare parts lists, operation and maintenance manuals, and As-Built drawings
Ensures designs are cost effective and meet American Equipment's standards
Reads and understands customers additional requirements
Performs field surveys, fabrication shop inspections and quality checks as needed
Learn, utilize, and implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, TOC, 6s, APICS, & 80/20
Responsible for directing or executing corrective action when shop problems are encountered, performs root cause analysis
Follows all ISO quality control procedures
Scan, file, and save all documents pertaining to the job
Keep accurate time for each job
Any other responsibilities assigned by Design Manager & Lead Designer

Industrial Design is looking to fill the role of AutoCAD 2D drafter to work with our Layout IE Support team. The candidate who is hired would provide direct drafting and as-building support to our customer's Industrial Engineering team. In this role the candidate will work on semiconductor factory layout projects producing what if scenario drawings that represent different possibilities for equipment installation configurations within an active facility. The Industrial Engineer will provide guidance related to the overall space utilization and equipment desired to be seen in that location, the support drafter will then create electronic drawings of these scenarios in 2D AutoCAD which will be used by the Industrial Engineering group in presentations, work groups and eventually for integration into the overall building equipment background master drawings. Field as-built work is required from time to time to validate existing factory conditions, determine available white space, develop accurate equipment blocks for existing equipment, and determine locations of existing equipment. Most of the factory as-built work will be inside of semiconductor manufacturing cleanrooms (class100 to 100,000) as well as supporting labs and offices.
This is a full-time, long-term, in-person position.
Strong AutoCAD skills are required, extensive role specific training will be provided.
The ideal candidate would possess:
Several years of 2D AutoCAD drafting experience, be familiar and comfortable with the use of X-refs, blocks, attributes and layer management. All drafting for this role is done in 2D AutoCAD due to contractual agreements with our clients.
Experience with dynamic blocks (this is a plus but not required).
Experience with support drafting related to general light industrial, piping, electrical or structural designs (this a plus but not required).

Responsibilities
Drafters & Designers play a key role in supporting engineering teams by creating detailed technical drawings and layouts used for infrastructure and energy projects. A typical day in this role involves working closely with engineers and translating design concepts and project specifications into precise, scaled drawings that help guide the construction and implementation process.

Qualifications
This position covers a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for the position are shown below:
Associate's Degree with an emphasis in drafting & design or related field
Proficient experience with MicroStation design software
Ability to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs as required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting with MicroStation
3-4 years of drafting & design experience is preferred
Ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings
Understand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directives
Experience conducting self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final product
Ability to work independently of engineers but confer with engineers and other designers for design concept interpretation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with others (Engineers, Designers, Project Managers) in a multi-disciplined project team environment to resolve design and drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience working in the Nuclear, Utilities, or Power Industry is a plus

Job Description:
* Provide technical support to key customers in base station/ broadcasting/ Microwave RF Power areas both OEM accounts and distribution channel.
* Design and optimize high performance RF Power amplifier device/turnkey solution, help to debug and fine tuning customers' design inside lab to meet customer expectation.
* Design and optimize high performance RF Power amplifier demo board/turnkey solution, help to debug and fine tuning customers' design inside lab to meet customer expectation.
* Work with device design team to design or optimize evaluation circuit to initiate meaningful design-in opportunity in key customers or verify the feasibility on innovation concept.
* Manage the account on technical interface. Build and maintain relationships with development crews at customer sites.
* Help on product quality complaint description and quality report explanation from tech. point of view.
* Technically drive marketing activities, including seminar/exhibition/conference, collect market feedback and give suggestions to Product Line on NPD.
* Manage lab facilities like DPD system/Loadpull system etc.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor/master's degree in electronic engineering with the focus on RF.
* 5+ years experiences in RF design or applications, experience in high power amplifier is preferred.
* Expert in RF laboratory equipment and measurement techniques.
* Expert on the design of high-power RF circuits for Power Amplifier applications.
* Highly knowledgeable on modelling techniques for non-linear systems, familiar with simulation tool like ADS/Microwave office/Momentum.
* Highly knowledgeable on the physics of device operation.
* Good understanding of RF circuit techniques for performance enhancements such as digital pre-distortion and Doherty.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
