What will you do?
As a Senior Roads Designer, you will transform engineering concepts into constructible designs that shape the future of transport infrastructure. You will play a vital role in developing high-quality design models, drawings, and documentation that support the safe and efficient delivery of roads and highways projects.
You'll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia's most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world. You are also expected to:
* Develop and produce detailed road and civil design models to produce drawings using 12d Model.
* Interpret design standards and translate engineering input into 3D models and provide outputs for plan production.
* Collaborate with engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy, constructability, and integration of design elements.
* Assist with digital design processes and participate in design reviews.
* Apply quality assurance and Aurecon design protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
* Apply Austroads guidelines and state based supplements to Austroads, to produce accurate and detailed road designs that will range from concept designs all the way through to construction stages.
