Job Description Industrial Design is looking to fill the role of AutoCAD 2D drafter to work with our Layout IE Support team. The candidate who is hired would provide direct drafting and as-building support to our customer's Industrial Engineering team. In this role the candidate will work on semiconductor factory layout projects producing what if scenario drawings that represent different possibilities for equipment installation configurations within an active facility. The Industrial Engineer will provide guidance related to the overall space utilization and equipment desired to be seen in that location, the support drafter will then create electronic drawings of these scenarios in 2D AutoCAD which will be used by the Industrial Engineering group in presentations, work groups and eventually for integration into the overall building equipment background master drawings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Day-to-day job functionality will require working with AutoCAD in order to create, maintain, and edit process, instrumentation, and electrical plans and schematics for water and wastewater treatment plants and industrial facilities Complete multiple assignments successfully through strong communication skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment Develop plans, detail sheets, and electrical diagrams. Ability to work in a team setting or independently as necessary. Edit Sheet Specifications as required per project Ability to think creatively and visualize in terms of 3D is required. An Architectural Drafter to assist the Project Manager in producing quality construction documents in an efficient and profitable manner. Required: Associates degree in Drafting/Design preferred 2+ years' experience in single family residential architectural design. Proficiency using SketchUp. Proficiency using Revit. Job Responsibilities: Uses Revit and SketchUp to produce construction documents using designs of others. Follows applicable guidelines for project standards. Convert limited verbal and written directions from Job Captain or Project Manager into a finished product or document. Proofreads own work and may proofread work of others. Generates architectural plans and artwork. Communicates with builder regarding construction questions. Pay Range: $20/hr. - $30/hr.
