POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
Creating Models and Drawings for the Saturn recap project for 6-12 months;
Working closely with mechanical engineers, design engineers, and controls engineers;
Cycling through an iterative design process requiring strong configuration management and quality control experience;
Collaborating with engineers throughout the drawing phase prior to modeling; and
Working with routing, schematics, piping systems, sheet metal, welding and weldments.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree in ComputerAided Drafting and Design Technology (CADD) OR four years of equivalent experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using CAD software Creo Parametric and PDMLink tools;
Able to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to drawings;
Able to acquire and maintain a DOE Q level security clearance;
Ability to work in a diverse work environment;

Qualifications
BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience with ASME BPVC Section III or other nuclear/pressure vessel codes and standards
Experience working under quality assurance programs (e.g., NQA-1, ISO 9001, ASME)
Experience with weldments and NDE techniques
Preferred hands-on experience with hardware design, fabrication, assembly, or testing
Familiarity with design and operation of pressure systems and fluid conveyance systems
