Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop a variety of remanufacturing aids, including jigs, fixtures, gauges, carts, and racks, using industry-standard CAD software
Create accurate, complete, and concise 2D and 3D design models, detailed blueprints, and technical drawings for fabrication.
Work closely with engineers, production managers, and machinists to understand project requirements, gather specifications, and ensure designs are functional and manufacturable.
Analyze existing tooling and processes to identify faults and opportunities for improvement, implementing design changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
Evaluate and select appropriate materials and perform cost analysis and estimate material requirements for new designs.
