The engineer will ensure technical excellence, safety, and performance of mechanical components through advanced analysis, innovative design, and continuous improvement Job Description Roles and Responsibilities • Design and analyze mechanical components throughout the gas power product portfolio. • Perform thermal, stress, and modal analysis of components within the gas turbine, steam, generator, aeroderivative, and powerplant accessory space. • Conduct testing and validation of new and existing designs and analyze post-test data. • Create design documentation, including drawings, layouts, and diagrams. • Lead engineering focal for new Qualifications supporting GEV and supplier production. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective actions (CAPA) to improve product reliability, quality, and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs. • Take technical ownership of mechanical hardware and apply mechanical principles. • Work within teams for project execution and process improvement. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders ie. Required Qualifications • B.S. in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Aeronautical Engineering. • 1-3 years of experience in Mechanical or Fluids Engineering and/or Quality.
