Job Purpose:

Key Accountabilities:
This is an entry level machinist
Access ERP system to log into specific work orders
Insert and load control instructions into machine control units to start operation
Pull set up sheet for the product/program
Load work pieces onto machine
Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts to maintain equipment in optimal production condition
Lift work pieces, fixtures, and vices to machine manually or with hoist or crane
Listen to machines during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to fix any problems
Remove and replace dull cutters

Primary Responsibilities
