Must be proficient with the use of, the care of, and the calibration of all types of measuring devices (i.e., micrometers (OD and ID), dial calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
Must possess and provide basic tools required for the execution of the position of machinist.
Must be able to comply with all safety directives and programs established by the Company and or our customers.

Education:
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
Knowledge and/or Skill Requirements:
OMEGA experience
Proficient in running horizontal lathes, milling machines, VTL, and Bullard.
Capable of reading drawings and proper use of calibrated measuring tools.
Read drawings and use of micrometers.
Basic machining knowledge and practices required.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand and walk for significant portions of the shift.
Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs., walk, climb, reach, kneel, crawl, and balance.
Must be able to use hands for assembly and tool.
Previous Experience:
10 years or more of Machinist experience required.
OTHER INFORMATION
The position will be based full time in our Pearland Works Facility.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand and walk for significant portions of the shift.
