We're seeking experienced constructionworkers with a strong work ethic, a history of consistent attendance, and excellent physical strength and stamina to join our team. You'll work under our construction manager's direction, alongside a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, to bring our construction plans to life.

Compensation:
$24 - $27 hourly
Responsibilities:
Tear down old structures, and build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site
Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc.
Run hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as required
Adhere to all directions from the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
Meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements by removing debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean
Qualifications:
Own a valid driver's license
Both physical stamina and physical strength are essential
Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required
High school diploma or equivalent is required - Associate's degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred
OSHA 10 certification is required

- Monitors construction progress, prepares and maintains detailed daily reports, deficiency notices, project status reports, and technical recommendations.
- Inspects and verifies construction materials and testing processes (concrete breaks, compaction testing, welding/joint inspections, pressure testing, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Oversees and coordinates field construction related services on projects, enforcing adherence to safety, environmental, quality control, and permitting requirements
- Conducts site investigations, reviews relevant data including maps, reports, test results, drawings and others as required.
- Participates in pre-construction meetings, design reviews, technical assessments, safety meetings, and project closeout/punch list activities.
- Ensures compliance with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and delivers technical files and other technical documentation as required.

Responsibilities
Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as welders, painters, and carpenters
Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility
Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
Qualifications
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
Strong attention to detail

Job Description

WORK HOURS
Monday thru Friday (typical)

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
