Perform tasks involving physical labor at pool construction sites. Job Description Contractor's Specialty Service Company is the Arkansas contractor of choice for temporary and permanent pavement marking and marking removal services. Our services include long line thermoplastic and paint striping, detail and parking lot striping, airport striping, decorative crosswalks, and pavement marking removal. Through a combination of highly trained staff and state-of-the art equipment, CSSC is able to exceed the expectations of our government, contractor, and private business customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Manually load or unload equipment, materials, or supplies · Assist with layout of roadway markings. · Correctly load and secure all loads. · Drive assigned vehicle/equipment as directed to and from job site. Including daily pre-trip inspections of assigned truck and log keeping, as required. (eligible drivers only). · Perform roadway preparation, including grinding, sealing, tape removal, as directed. · Once Flagger certified, assist in traffic control as directed. · Assist in maintenance of assigned equipment. · Responsible for maintaining assigned PPE and having proper PPE on hand for scheduled work. · Participate in all required safety training including weekly Toolbox Talks. · Clean and organize warehouse, shop, yard, office, and vehicles to maintain a clean, safe work environment. · Responsible for reporting all incidents you are involved in or witness to the Safety Director as per company training and incident reporting protocols. · Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · High school diploma or equivalent · Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HSE Specialist to support construction operations by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will bring practical experience in asbestos abatement, safe handling and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, working at heights, and operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs), including mobile cranes. This position is essential for maintaining a safe work environment and fostering a strong safety culture across all project sites. Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific HSE programs and procedures. - Perform risk assessments and job hazard analyses for construction activities. - Coordinate and oversee asbestos abatement projects in compliance with federal and state requirements. - Manage proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. - Ensure compliance with safety measures for working at heights, including fall protection systems and training. - Inspect and confirm safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and mobile cranes. - Conduct routine site inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. - Lead investigations of incidents and perform root cause analyses; maintain accurate documentation and reports. - Deliver HSE training sessions and toolbox talks to site personnel. - Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable standards. - Support emergency preparedness, including planning and conducting drills.
