Specific Responsibilities The Automation Technician Sr is a technical position under the direction and training of the automation foreman and is responsible for system integration, operation, and maintenance of all areas of automation systems and performs other related duties. The Automation Technician Sr uses extensive knowledge of DC Electronics with a basic knowledge of AC electrical systems associated with oil and gas production facilities. Perform troubleshooting to investigate solar plant issues such as battery issues, inverter faults, inverter design issues, and utility grid transients. Work with customer SCADA engineers to set up systems communication and parameters. Research alternative components that can be used in the field. Independently performs a range of field service tasks involving communication with Factory Engineering and Customer's solar plant engineer. Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistic, financial, and program management disciplines to maintain the solar/BESS plants. Help with the repair activities in the Service center. Prepare and submit field reports to customers and management.
