Coinbase is looking for an Analyst, Tech Controls to support the second line of defense technology compliance initiatives. This role will play a critical part in assisting with the design, implementation, and monitoring of a technology control framework. Job Responsibilities Prepare and verify work instructions for NDT methods to be compliant to customer specification and requirements. Have a thorough knowledge of written instructions, codes, specifications, and standards used. Train, test and certify NDT inspectors in the method(s) and techniques certified per the latest revision of PCC's Quality Control procedures. Maintain all aspects of the NDT inspection program, including but not limited to: vision exams, X-ray film silver recovery, calibration of NDT equipment, internal audits, and maintenance. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a BS degree in engineering with 5-8 years relevant experience, or a MS degree in engineering with 3-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent experience.     What to Expect Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Technician to support engineering development for Cell Manufacturing, including equipment development, installation, and commissioning. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to address challenging automation equipment issues and installations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in industrial automation machinery, especially with PLC or DCS control systems using a fieldbus technology; knowledge of Profinet or EtherCAT is preferred. The candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Tesla's projects are highly dynamic, as the company continuously adjusts priorities to improve productivity and efficiency. What You'll Do * Install line-side equipment, including instrumentation and automation control systems * Construct NEC/UL508A code compliant control panels and perform retrofits to existing panels, by following engineering prints and using supplier information * Collaborate and provide feedback with relevant teams to determine appropriate equipment, instrument locations, and compliant cabling methods * Verify automation equipment is safely installed and energized, and that it meets the project specifications and standards * Troubleshoot complex electrical and control issues, using knowledge of control systems and proficiently reading electrical schematics, troubleshoot and commission VFD and servo drive systems * Edit electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 Electrical CAD * Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks, such as bolting brackets and covers, and using basic hand tools What You'll Bring * 5+ years of experience working in an industrial automation or technical organization * Familiarity with 480V power distribution panels, digital/analog I/O, and safety circuit systems * Experience with wiring methods, terminations, and networking within industrial/manufacturing environments * Experience with NEC compliance for industrial machinery, including raceway methods * Command of the English language, both written and verbal * Ability to document, multitask, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment Essential Physical Demands * Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day * Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain * Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs * Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach * Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day * Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures * Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing * Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
