KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the manufacture of consumer foods which comply with all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Performs the necessary activities to operate, maintain, and clean production equipment.
Understands, follows, and improves documented operational, maintenance, and sanitation standards in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) work environment.
Performs equipment changeovers and sanitation activities.
Performs preventative maintenance activities, work orders, and lubrication in a timely manner to maximize performance of plant equipment. Improves and modifies preventative maintenance activities as appropriate.
Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment and software.
Proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of the following:

Ethernet/IP Control Network
Food Manufacturing and Utility Instrumentation
Maintains and properly operates electrical testing equipment.
Utilizes drawings, prints, and instruction manuals to determine proper steps to be taken for equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
Adheres to company drawing and documentation standards.
Coaches other team members on electrical, instrumentation, and controls skills, machine functionality, defect identification and resolution, and equipment repair.
Active participation in training and qualification programs for designated line/area; participates in assessments and ensures effective training and maintains consistent qualification standards.
Uses continuous improvement tools, including breakdown elimination to eliminate losses and drive issues to root cause. Documents, communicates, and implements corrective and preventative actions.
Serves as owner of one or more technical, safety, or quality systems. Responsible for building technician skills and providing ongoing coaching.
Creates documentation as needed (SOPs, Job Aids, PM Improvements, etc.).
Increases skills and knowledge by attending technical training sessions, participating in vendor visits and scheduled maintenance activities. Attains expertise in advances E&I technology (networks, servers, FactoryTalk, Motion Controls, etc.).
Attains and maintenance low voltage qualification within twelve months of start date.
Uses a computer to input and maintain accurate records and data. Can utilize email and online training resources.
Maintains accurate electronic database of repair and maintenance activities including parts usage and time tracking.
Facilitates effective shift passdowns with the prior/next shift to discuss safety, quality, and production issues.
Lead projects to improve safety, quality, or production results in a designated area.
Works as part of a team and assists fellow employees when needed.

SELECTION CRITERIA
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is .
Associates or technical degree or training preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with electrical systems, PLC, motor and motion controls, SCADA systems, device and information networks, sensors, instrumentation equipment for manufacturing is .
Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS

What You'll Do:

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $130,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

The Mechatronics Technician is a multi-craft position that performs troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, and repairs on industrial equipment and facilities.
REPORTING TO: Maintenance Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works as a multi-craft (mechanical, electrical, controls) technician in an industrial environment, supporting production equipment and the facility in general.
Actively participates in EHS programs and adheres to policies and procedures.
Demonstrates IDEX values (Team-Trust-Excellence) in all daily actions and interactions.
Aids in the installation and commissioning of equipment upgrades and new installations.
Documents their activities in CMMS system as well as through written and verbal communication.
Supports production by performing maintenance and reliability activities on manufacturing equipment utilizing mechanical, electrical, and controls skills.
Performs basic facilities repairs and maintenance as needed.
Write maintenance troubleshooting/repair procedures and PMs.
Proactively works with production, engineering, purchasing and safety resources to resolve issues and execute the business plan.
Participate in continuous improvement activities, root-cause analysis, recommendations on facility and equipment design requirements and performance teams to improve processes, efficiency, quality and service.
Able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lift Electrical Technician I completes industrial electronics control system maintenance, modifications, construction and inspections on lifts under the direction of the Lift Electrical Supervisor. They always comply with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations of Winter Park Recreational Association, Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board, United States Forest Service, American National Standards Institute (ANSI B77.1), lift manufacturers and insurance carriers, as well as WPR policies and procedures.

WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performs routine industrial electronics maintenance on lifts to maintain lifts up to Winter Park Recreational Association, Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board, United States Forest Service, American National Standards Institute, lift manufacturer and insurance carrier standards.

Attends periodic safety meetings to increase safety awareness.
